As a 5th generation Baltimorean who grew up in Lauraville, Judith remembers when her neighborhood was a vibrant, thriving community with many little shops and local activities. Her long-term goal is to be a part of the revitalization of the small communities in the Baltimore area. As Development Director, Judith is working on strategies to expand the ArtsFest’s partnerships, fundraising efforts and visibility in local arts, government, and business circles.

Judith received a Master of Science in Engineering degree from the University of Michigan and began working for General Electric, where she became intrigued with the idea of incorporating marketing with science and medical technology. Equally comfortable in both the creative and scientific worlds, she then taught multi-media and web design at George Washington University, and became a technical & marketing editor for NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center.

Judith enjoys ballroom dancing, ice skating and oil painting, with a particular interest in encaustic work. She now brings her wide-ranging experience, passion and ideas to ArtsFest.
