Celebrating young artists with our Overlea ArtsFest Youth Art Shows!

Overlea ArtsFest continues to showcase young talent with the Youth Art Show in 2024, as part of the Overlea ArtsFest festival weekend on August 9th and 10th.  The Youth Art Show offers a professional art show experience to young kids & teens in the greater Baltimore community between the ages of 6 and 17 years of age. Educators, art teachers and schools are encouraged to connect with us to help their students participate.

The Youth Art Show is produced in association with Holt Park & Center for the Arts, who will provide family art & nature activities in the art tent where the show will be on display. The event is sponsored by a generous grant from Baltimore County Government, and by Rosedale Federal Savings & Loan. Participation in the Youth Art Show and the art activities is FREE. Our goal is to provide an exciting and educational experience for young creatives, and give them a professional venue to exhibit their work.  In keeping with our mission, we believe that nurturing young talent is the best way to ensure the continued growth of a vibrant community.

All artworks submitted are accepted and displayed in the show. Submissions are divided into two groups: ages 6 thru 11 and ages 12 thru 17. Prizes and certificates are awarded to the top winners in each age group. Complete info is provided on the Sign-up Form for Youth Art Show, where young artists can enter their work for the 2024 show starting March 1st, 2024.
