Supporting Northeast Baltimore’s new & emerging visual artists!

Experience “Kaleidoscope” at Overlea ArtsFest 2024 – August 9th & 10th!

Note: The Friday August 9th Preview Party has been postponed due to severe weather!

We will reschedule for later this month and make an announcement soon. Be safe!

Founded in 2016, Overlea ArtsFest has evolved from a local art festival to a community based 501c3 arts organization, working closely with county government to develop a viable pipeline for emerging artists making the transition from hobby to career. Now in 2024, Overlea ArtsFest will offer a series of workshops throughout the year on business skills specifically addressing the legal, marketing and financial strategies undergirding successful artists. Our annual festival provides emerging artists a low-cost, juried exhibition and vending opportunity as they hone their business.

Overlea ArtsFest is also partnering with Baltimore County’s Holt Park & Center for the Arts to establish and curate ongoing gallery exhibitions for new artists and culturally diverse populations throughout the year. We are networking with arts organizations in and around Baltimore to identify synergies and expand funding opportunities to develop a vibrant arts community.

ArtsFest’s programs are made possible with the help of our generous sponsors – Baltimore County GovernmentBaltimore County Recreation & ParksRosedale Federal Savings & LoanChesapeake Employers Insurance and Basignani Winery – and the dedicated volunteers and donors that lend their support. To find out how you can be a part of our growing organization through sponsorship, collaboration or volunteering, contact us! We’d love to connect with you.

"A great event you ran last week. Had to convey my thanks for such a rewarding experience. I have been telling my neighbors about how excited I was to learn something about the Overlea neighborhood.
Again, thank you."
