Join us for “KALEIDOSCOPE,” our 9th annual arts festival, a celebration of light and color!

Our festival is better than ever, with ‘Screen on the Green’ movies teaming up with our ArtsFest Juried Short Films on Friday night. Meet the artists, sample summer wines and listen to great live music by the legendary Deep Water Jazz before the movies! On Saturday, we have renowned local band Automatic Slim and his Sensational Band featuring David Carreon, the fabulous bi-lingual band Bad Hombres, and returning favorite Josie Baltimore. A large selection of unique art & craft vendors will be on site, plus a full day of FREE workshops for artists. Come see our Kaleidoscope art installation on the grounds, and make your own mini kaleidoscopes in our art activities tent. The Juried Art Show is the heart of our festival, and now it teams up with the Youth Art Show on the same festival weekend. Enjoy a diverse display of artwork by adult and youth artists of all ages, and vote for your favorites in our Peoples’ Choice Awards. This year, everything in the Juried Art Show is for sale, so you can take home a special treasure for your home décor.

Delicious food and ice cream are available, as well as great local wines and beers at our Wine & Beer Tent. The nature trails and cabins are open, so bring the kids and the dogs for strolling, scavenger hunts and a fun day in the park. Doggie bag stations and water dishes are available for your pet’s needs.

Our Juried Art Show stays on display longer this year – enjoy viewing the art show through Saturday August 31st! The Youth Art Show closes at the end of the weekend on Sunday August 11th. And Holt Park will continue the fun with a 3rd day of art & nature activities of their own on site between 12 noon and 4 pm. Stay tuned to our website for regular updates in the weekend schedule!

** NEW THIS YEAR — SHUTTLE SERVICE **

No parking worries this year! Shuttle service by Next Destination LLC will run between Overlea High School and Holt Park ALL DAY between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, to transport attendees (and vendors) to and from the event.

Park your vehicle in the Overlea High School parking lot at 5401 Kenwood Avenue, 21206, and look for the white shuttle van.
A Courtesy Greeter will be there to assist you.
Shuttle will run approx. every 15 minutes or until full.
