Art training from CCBC and MICA and an early career as a graphic designer & illustrator gave Carol a strong background in the media arts. She then owned a commercial photography studio for 23 years, and developed skills in professional makeup artistry, fashion and art direction during that time. Her entrepreneurial spirit also led her to becoming a makeup instructor, a speaker/trainer for several cosmetic companies, and eventually joint owner of a video production & marketing company. Her makeup clients have included Discovery Channel, Bahamas Tourism, Marin Alsop of the BSO, Trevor Noah, every local TV station and numerous documentaries. An experienced teacher and trainer, Carol also gives instruction on personal style, and has been a contributing author in 2 collaborative books. Carol also serves on the board of the Overlea Community Association as their marketing coordinator.
