The art of telling stories through film has always had the power to immerse the viewer in a narrative experience that engages and educates, as well as entertains. ArtsFest has showcased short films since we began in 2016 as part of our multi-media festival. We are excited to announce that the Overlea ArtsFest Short Film Festival is now officially a distinct event of its own, in partnership with the Digital Media Department of CCBC Essex! This collaboration brings you an even bigger and better Short Films Festival… with a whole weekend of films by creative new filmmakers, “meet the filmmaker” talks, workshops, guest appearances, and more.
