Sigourney graduated in 2008 from the University of Maryland, Baltimore with an MSW in Social Work and a LMSW licensure. She immediately began working as a clinical social worker in an elementary/middle school in South Baltimore. She then became a Rehabilitation Specialist at Positive Steps, LLC, managing PRP counselors who work with clients in the community. Sigourney’s other passions are photography and volunteering. Offering her photography services to Casey Cares and acting as Board Secretary, event photographer and Short Films juror with Overlea ArtsFest, allow Sigourney to keep art close to her heart while providing much-needed benefit to the community. She is also the co-host of an online radio program called “Depoorable Rhetoric” for She’s The Boss Radio, as well as studio manager at Tictocmind Studios, giving Sigourney many opportunities to express herself artistically. Since joining Tictocmind in 2017 with the production of their film Abundance of Being, Sigourney has provided photo & video work for the studio’s clients, casting needs, events and community initiatives, including film footage for Tictocmind’s editorial documentaries.
